Needed Immediately - Mental Health Therapist:
Desert View Family Counseling, Farmington, is seeking a mental health therapist to work with victims of trauma, physical abuse and sexual assault. We also work with “at risk youth” including parenting, foster families and substance abuse. This position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of clinical services to assigned clients and their families utilizing agency approved counseling techniques and strategies.
Daily activities consist of individual, family, and group counseling, case management duties, crisis management, completion of required clinical and administrative paperwork, and authorization of services as necessary. Bilingual preferred. Independent Licensure preferred. Vacation, Insurance and competitive pay offered. 40 hours a week M-F.

Navajo Eastern Agency/McKinley County (NEA/MC) Total Community Approach (TCA) Partnership
TCA Coordinator
The TCA Coordinator will coordinate the participation of programs focused on reducing and/or preventing substance abuse problems in NEC/MC through a comprehensive behavioral health services model (prevention, intervention and treatment) and development of collaborative and cooperative effort with communities and municipalities.
This is a contract position. Candidate should have an office, office equipment and transportation.
Primary location of operations will be McKinley County, San Juan County, and Crownpoint, New Mexico.
This position is responsible for:
Accountability and reporting of all participating partner programs; and
Liaison with the community, Local Collaborative, Behavioral Health Statewide Entity, and the State;
Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in a Behavioral Health field;
Minimum of four (4) years experience in community organization, financial monitoring and reporting, grant writing, project sustainability and excellent writing and communication skills.

This is an On-Call position. Must be 21 years or older. Good communication and teamwork skills required. Some knowledge of Domestic Violence preferred; bi-lingual Spanish/English desirable.
General duties: Provide a safe, inviting atmosphere for domestic violence victims and oversee the safety, cleanliness and well-being of the Domestic Violence Safe house facility and the physical and safety needs of Shelter clients. Greet and interview new clients; arrange for transportation. Document client activities; hold client support group sessions; distribute clothing, hygiene supplies, etc. as needed; monitor health issues and distribute medications according to procedures. Answer hotline crisis calls. Assist and monitor clients in accomplishing shared household duties and preparation of meals. Insure safety of clients. Promote positive resolutions of problems as they arise. Communicate with volunteers, law enforcement and other service agencies regarding clients as needed.
Attend trainings, participate in other projects; maintain strict confidentiality; edify this agency and it’s mission of prevention, education and intervention on issues of Domestic Violence in San Juan County.
Must pass a background check with no criminal record.
If a survivor of domestic abuse, must have been in recovery for no less than 3 years.
