During this Christmas season, give the gift of warmth and help Warm Our Community.

San Juan Safe Communities Initiative, along with the Mental Health Task Group and San Juan Peer Support, are asking for your help in keeping our displaced community members warm during the winter months.

Shelter services are not always available to those in need, and something as simple as a sleeping bag could make a difference in their life. We are collecting new or gently used backpacks, sleeping bags, and sleeping pads (and other items of comfort).

You can drop those items off at the following locations:

~San Juan Safe Communities Initiative, 100 W. Broadway in Farmington ~District Court Programs, 103 S. Oliver Dr. in Aztec ~Bloomfield Municipal Court, 711 Ruth Lane in Bloomfield

San Juan Safe Communities Initiative can accept your tax-deductible monetary donations as well. Please make your check out to San Juan Safe Communities Initiative, write “Warm Our Community” in the memo field, and mail to 100 W. Broadway, Farmington, NM 87401.
