The Mayor's Table: Power Cost Adjustment
Farmington Electric Utility System recently announced that the Power Cost Adjustment charge will be reduced. Natural gas prices have dropped since this time last year in conjunction with snow accumulation during the winter which allowed for the increase in production of hydroelectricity. The first phase reduction will begin in the October billing cycle.
Affordable electricity is a cornerstone of modern society, playing a vital role in powering homes, businesses, and industries. Accessibility and affordability of electricity are critical for economic development, social progress, and improved living standards.
Director Hank Adair joins Mayor Duckett in this episode of the Mayor’s Table.
