Today on the fourth Tuesday celebrating National Recovery Month, the Mental Health Task Force brings recovery stories from Bonita and Ade.
National Recovery Month is a national observance held every September to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can enable those with mental and substance use disorders to live healthy and rewarding lives. Now in its 31st year, Recovery Month celebrates the gains made by those living in recovery.
Each Tuesday morning during September, the Mental Health Task Force is sharing a few stories from our recovery community members. We hope these stories enlighten others to the fact that recovery is not easy, but with help, the process is possible and manageable.
