Minding the Gap: San Juan Peer Support ep. 20-10

“Minding the Gap” is a video series of local mental health service providers offering tips to help reduce stress during the COVID-19 crisis. This series is brought to you by San Juan County, San Juan Safe Communities Initiative, and the Mental Health Task Force.

San Juan Safe Communities Initiative’s “San Juan Peer Support (SJPS)” provides a free Peer to Peer service meeting every Wednesday evening. SJPS is led by a Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) to provide DTR – Double Trouble in Recovery to community members in need. Today on Minding the Gap, Joell Jones, CPSW, explains DTR and its role in recovery.

Contact Cindy Collyer, CPSW, at 575-758-9523 for meeting information or Joell Jones, CPSW, at 505-592-1771 for more peer support information.
