Governor Martinez's Address to San Juan County
Animas River / Gold King Mine Wastewater Spill
On Saturday, August 8th, Governor Susana Martinez held a press conference in Farmington regarding the Animas River contamination. During her visit, she flew from Farmington to the Colorado border to observe the effects of the waste that spilled into the river from Gold King Mine located above Silverton, Colorado.
