After the Flood: Homeowner Recovery Forum
As San Juan County families begin recovering from devastating flooding, local leaders and professionals come together to answer an important question: What do we do next? This community forum, moderated by Pat Lucero with co-host Sandra Lanier at San Juan College, offers information and encouragement for residents navigating damage to their homes, displacement, and the uncertainty of rebuilding.
Watch as panelists discuss documenting losses, navigating insurance and mortgage questions, identifying electrical and gas hazards, checking plumbing and septic systems, and addressing cleanup and structural damage. The conversation also covers manufactured homes, mold concerns, debris disposal, avoiding scams, and connecting with community resources.
